Commissioning

Commissioning is a process by which an equipment, facility, or plant (which is installed, or is complete or near completion) is tested to verify if it functions according to its design objectives or specifications.

At TelTec we believe that commissioning is a fundamental element in the design, construction and maintenance process. Therefore, TelTec can be utilised at any stage of construction to provide a package of Inspection, Testing, Thermal Imaging, Commissioning and Reporting services from design evaluation to project handover and beyond.

The level of experience and technical knowledge of our directors, managers, and senior commissioning engineers coupled with our systematic approach enable us to efficiently, effectively and economically identify and correct design, installation and commissioning problems and thus reduce the expensive corrective work frequently required during the last weeks of a contract or during the equipments warranty period.

Fit for purpose & safe

TelTec can carry out inspections in order to verify that the installation complies with the design drawings, the specification and the relevant local and international requirements. All test activities will be recorded on our acceptance sheets and can be witnessed by the accepting authority.

This information is invaluable and will ensure that all your systems are fit for purpose and safe.

TelTec offers a unique service as a part of our electrical commissioning whereby we use a Thermal Imaging Device as part of our test equipment when proving and witnessing electrical systems.

The following systems are generally independently tested under the electrical commissioning package:

  • LVP's / SMDB's / MCC's
